January 2011 Del Mar Calendar Antique Show
Last January Car 138 was squeezed through the doors of O'Brien Hall at the Del Mar Fairgrounds
to be a part of the Calendar Antique show. We met some interesting characters that weekend
including a few "Steam Punks" who took time to snap a few photos with the
streetcars courtesy of photographer Jerry Abuan.

2010 Holiday Parades in San Diego
In December 2010 Streetcar No. 138 got a facelift and was featured in the North Park,
Ocean Beach and La Jolla holiday parades to the delight of the crowds.

1998 Toyland Parade in North Park
Back in 1998 the streetcars were reintroduced to North Park for the first time in nearly 60 years.
Assemblywoman Susan Davis was on hand as was Jay Turner, who worked on the University Avenue
Mobility Study in 2004.
Also note the transformation the streetcars have seen over these past few years!
